Responsibilities (in order of workflow or workload):
I. Analyze production data and report to management
1. Track workshop production statistics in real time, produce timely production analysis reports and provide key input for management decisions.
2. Recommend production plan adjustments based on production reports to continuously improve efficiency.
II. Break down the annual production plan into workshop-level schedules, organize implementation, and deliver production targets on time, in quality and in quantity
1. Production planning: organize workshop-level work plans based on the company production plan; organize and arrange production to ensure plan fulfillment; allocate manpower and materials rationally, adjust production layout and load, and improve productivity;
2. Progress management: hold regular production team meetings to review progress and key issues; assign work per the plan, track progress and manage delivery dates;
3. Quality management: strictly enforce quality management rules; organize, supervise and inspect the operation of the production quality system and resolve issues promptly; implement and monitor process, quality, equipment, cost and output targets; roll out new technologies, processes, equipment and production management models (e.g. lean production, Six Sigma);
4. Shop-floor management: promote 7S management in the workshop and improve the working environment; check production tasks, material consumption and housekeeping; verify that team operation records are properly completed and address issues promptly.
5. Safety management: implement company production safety rules and conduct routine safety inspections; control critical areas, eliminate hazards and prevent accidents; organize regular safety training and guide employees in safe operations.
6. Equipment management: organize equipment maintenance and servicing; schedule workshop equipment usage to maximize efficiency; manage labor protection supplies and tools.
III. System building, process improvement and internal team development
1. Establish and improve production management rules and processes for each workshop.
2. Manage and coach production staff, including appraisal, training and team building.
3. Promote workshop, team and corporate culture development.
4. Assign tasks within the production department and staff appropriately.
5. Control the production budget and reduce costs; analyze production cost consumption and define actionable cost-control measures.
IV. Cross-department coordination and external relationships
1. Build good working relationships with upstream/downstream supply chain partners and customers.
2. Monitor market feedback and adjust production schedules or improve quality based on market demand.
3. Maintain effective coordination with Engineering, Quality, Sales, Finance and HR according to work procedures.
V. Ad-hoc tasks
Complete other tasks assigned by the production supervisor or production manager.
Qualifications:
General:
Open to all genders;
Education:
Associate/Bachelor’s degree or above;
Experience:
7+ years of workshop management in large factories; electronics-related expertise; familiar with SMT/assembly production processes;
Skills:
1. Familiar with SMT/assembly processes and flows; skilled in multi-skill training, identifying high-potential staff (management trainees) and handling abnormalities;
2. Proven on-site SMT/assembly problem-solving ability with recurrence prevention;
3. Familiar with shop-floor management systems and production models;
