Responsibilities

I. Tooling Design and Development

Requirement Alignment and Solution Planning: Based on new product R&D plans, production process requirements, and product drawings, clarify tooling design requirements, conduct process feasibility analysis, and develop tooling (fixtures, molds, gauges, etc.) design solutions and development plans, clarifying technical indicators, schedule milestones, and cost budgets.

Structural Design and Drawing Output: Use 2D/3D design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, UG, and CATIA to complete conceptual design, detailed structural design, and engineering drawings of tooling, ensuring the design meets production precision, assembly efficiency, and safe operation requirements; simultaneously prepare technical documents such as design specifications and Bills of Materials (BOM).

Outsourcing and Manufacturing Follow-up: Evaluate equipment for processing non-standard tooling, conduct customer technical alignment, and review the feasibility and rationality of solutions; track the entire tooling manufacturing process, supervise processing quality and progress, and coordinate to resolve technical deviations during manufacturing to ensure tooling is delivered per design requirements.

Trial Production Validation and Optimization: Organize tooling trial production validation, testing core performance such as positioning accuracy, clamping stability, and operational convenience; promptly adjust design solutions based on trial production feedback, optimize tooling structure or parameters to ensure tooling fully adapts to production needs.

II. Production Technical Support and Problem Solving

On-site Technical Support: Go deep into the production front line to provide tooling usage technical guidance to operators; quickly respond to tooling failures during production, diagnose root causes, and implement repairs to minimize production interruption time and ensure smooth production line operation.

Process Collaboration Optimization: Participate in product structure reviews and propose Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFX) suggestions from a tooling adaptability perspective; analyze production bottlenecks, and propose and implement tooling improvement solutions based on production takt time requirements to improve production efficiency and reduce labor intensity.

New Technology Introduction and Application: Monitor industry tooling technology development trends, introduce new concepts and technologies (such as automation and intelligent tooling solutions), and drive production lines toward streamlined and automated upgrades to improve production intelligence.

Requirements

1. 2-5 years or more of experience in tooling design, development, or related technical positions, familiar with manufacturing production processes and design specifications and manufacturing processes for tooling (fixtures, molds, gauges, etc.).

2. Preferably with relevant tooling design and management experience in target industries (such as automotive parts, new energy batteries, etc.), understanding industry-specific process requirements, quality standards, and safety regulations.
