Responsibilities (in order of workflow or workload):
1. Provide equipment, process and production technical support
2. Improve production efficiency and first-pass yield; control scattering/reject rate; manage key indicators (MTTR, MTBF, OEE, CPH);
3. Independently troubleshoot and repair equipment failures; perform regular equipment precision calibration
4. Tune printing and placement parameters, SPI/AOI and reflow oven temperature profiles based on product characteristics;
5. Analyze and optimize processes; define actionable countermeasures for SMT abnormalities;
6. Develop training plans for technicians and improve staff capabilities;
7. Establish annual maintenance plans for different equipment models with clear items and standards;
8. Able to rebuild machine programs from scratch, optimize programs during production, and debug defects/component scattering;
9. Other assigned tasks and periodic equipment performance reports.
Qualifications:
General:

Education:
Full-time Bachelor’s degree preferred; outstanding candidates with an Associate degree considered. Electronics, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering majors.
Skills:
1. Familiar with the complete SMT production process; 5+ years in the SMT industry; under 37; willing to work overtime and rotating night shifts;
2. Familiar with mainstream SMT equipment: printers (MPM/GKG/DEK), pick-and-place machines (Panasonic/ASM/Juki), AOI/SPI (Kohyoung/Holly/TRI, etc.), reflow ovens (ERSA/JT, etc.);
3. Good internal and external communication skills, professionalism and self-motivation;
4. Familiar with the IPC-610 standard; understanding of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 requirements and core tools relevant to the audit scope;
5. Able to systematically troubleshoot equipment and process issues using 5W1H, 8D and fishbone diagrams; proficient with office software.
