FA (Failure Analysis) Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. In-depth analysis of defective products

Task: Responsible for component-level and circuit-board-level analysis of PCBA defective products from the production line and market returns (RMA), and assist in confirming and re-judging functional defects at the customer end;

Goal: Locate the specific failed component or circuit node and reproduce the fault.

2. Analysis report writing and communication

Task: Write professional and detailed failure analysis (FA) reports, drive and track actual improvement effects, and guide the production line in defect improvement; Goal: Clearly explain failure causes, mechanisms and improvement suggestions to customers, internal R&D, quality and other departments.

3. Support production and testing tasks: Handle analysis of defective products from production line functional test equipment (ICT/FCT/EOL/PE/aging); Goal: Respond quickly, reduce production line stoppage time, and improve first-pass yield.

4. Knowledge accumulation and training

Task: Establish and maintain a failure mode library and analysis standards;

Goal: Empower production and quality teams through technical training.

Requirements:

1. Full-time accredited Bachelor’s degree or above, majoring in electronic information, communication engineering or related fields, with automotive electronics PCBA functional repair experience;

2. Familiar with electronic application schematic diagrams;

3. Proficient in using repair tools such as hot air guns, soldering irons, BGA rework stations, and oscilloscopes;

4. Good interpersonal communication skills and proficient in writing various functional defect analysis reports;

5. Proficient in various electronic instruments and meters, such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, multimeters;

6. Familiar with the entire PCBA production process;

7. Understand ICT&FCT PCBA functional test principles and related test software applications.
