Responsibilities (in order of workflow or workload):
1. Prepare product control plans and review and optimize them regularly.
2. Participate in customer audits and process audits; collect issues raised by customers and drive rectification and corrective actions per customer requirements.
3. Analyze, handle, review and report customer quality complaints; consolidate lessons learned and apply them to closed-loop quality improvement across the full process.
4. Establish inspection and testing standards and method procedures, and revise them regularly.
5. Build a defect-improvement knowledge base and improve operating guides for quality personnel.
6. Assure mass-production quality: maintain quality standards, judge and disposition non-conforming products, accurately identify root causes, define control measures and track issues until fully closed.
7. Manage in-process quality: monitor process performance and drive continuous process quality improvement;
8. Train and upskill inspection personnel.
9. Compile weekly and monthly first-pass-yield reports for each internal work section and track improvements for out-of-spec items.
10. Consolidate internal and external issues, track the implementation and verification of improvement measures until fully closed.
11. Resolve other quality abnormalities in the manufacturing process.
Qualifications:
General:
Open to all genders;
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or above from a full-time accredited program, majoring in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Vehicle Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related fields;
Experience:
Automotive or electronics industry experience preferred;
Skills:
1. Familiar with ISO/TS 16949 quality management system requirements; proficient in core quality tools APQP/PPAP/FMEA/SPC/MSA (GR&R) and the 8D problem-solving method.
2. Rigorous and responsible: uphold quality red lines with a strong sense of responsibility for product safety and reliability.
3. Clear logic: skilled at distilling the essence of problems from complex data and driving process optimization.
4. Continuous improvement mindset: proactively balance quality, efficiency and cost improvements.
Stress tolerance: able to adapt to multi-project, fast-paced delivery environments.
