Ligoo New Energy and Yinpai Battery Build a Safe, Reliable Energy Storage System for Sinopec

Recently, the energy storage system jointly built by Ligoo New Energy and Yinpai Battery Technology Co., Ltd. (“Yinpai”) for the Hangzhou branch of Sinopec Sales Co., Ltd. was successfully commissioned and connected to the grid.

Located at Sinopec’s Datang solar-storage-charging station in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, this is Sinopec’s first demonstration project to adopt lithium titanate (LTO) batteries and a liquid-cooled LFP energy storage system at a solar-storage-charging station. Ligoo New Energy provided safe and reliable automotive-grade energy storage system products along with after-sales service.

The project has a total capacity of 215 kW / 334 kWh, comprising one 100 kW / 104 kWh LTO energy storage cabinet and one 115 kW / 230 kWh LFP energy storage cabinet, both equipped with Ligoo’s self-developed battery management system and EMS cloud platform.

The system improves the utilization of on-site solar power and enables peak-valley arbitrage for the station, imposing higher requirements on safety, reliability and energy efficiency.

The self-developed EMS cloud platform integrates intelligent monitoring, fault diagnosis, SOX management and remote O&M. Combining Ligoo’s years of experience in the new energy sector with accumulated historical data, and applying cloud computing, big data and AI technologies, it provides full-lifecycle dynamic monitoring and management for energy storage stations, supporting data-driven and science-based decision-making for operators.
