Recently, the AUTOSQS Automotive Software Quality & Safety certification award ceremony of Ligoo New Energy was held in Hefei, Anhui. Mr. Liu Yong, CEO of Ligoo New Energy, Mr. Zhai Hongbao, head of automotive business at CEPREI Certification Body, and other relevant personnel attended the event.

At the conference, Ligoo New Energy’s certification process was reviewed, and it was officially announced that the company had successfully passed the rigorous audit conducted by CEPREI Certification Body in accordance with the Automotive Software Quality & Safety (AUTOSQS) management system requirements, and had been granted the AUTOSQS certificate.
This certification marks Ligoo New Energy as the first enterprise in the battery management system (BMS) field to pass the certification. It not only demonstrates the company’s profound professional expertise and excellent quality control in automotive electronic software development, but also injects new momentum into its sustained technological leadership and market competitiveness amid the intelligent and electrified wave of the automotive industry.

Building the Certification Foundation with a Professional Team
In the wave of automotive “new four modernizations” (electrification, connectivity, intelligence, and sharing), software has become the core that defines a vehicle’s performance, safety, and experience.
The Automotive Software Quality & Safety Standard (AutoSQS) integrates for the first time the common software requirements of automotive quality, functional safety, expected functional safety, and information security, and combines the best practices of Chinese automakers in the intelligent connectivity field, providing a unified converged system architecture and implementation guidelines for automotive software quality and safety management.
AUTOSQS certification is not a single-product audit, but a systematic “health check” of the enterprise’s entire software engineering management system (including process standardization, risk control, quality assurance, and continuous improvement capabilities).
To meet this challenge, Ligoo New Energy formed a cross-departmental dedicated system-building team, whose core members all have rich experience in functional safety and cybersecurity implementation.
Starting from standard interpretation, process integration, to full-domain practice, the team embarked on a months-long battle.
The process was full of challenges: not only did they need to embed the multiple common requirements of quality, functional safety, and information security integrated in the AutoSQS standard into the company’s existing agile development process, but also establish and improve a full-lifecycle quality assurance and risk control mechanism covering requirements, design, implementation, verification, and release; moreover, they needed to ensure that every process requirement was strictly executed in actual projects and that evidence was solidified. This process was a deep tempering of organizational collaboration, technical understanding, and quality will.
