On April 26, the opening ceremony for the new Huzhou plant of Zhejiang Ligoo Power Technology Co., Ltd. was successfully held. This smart manufacturing center for NEV control systems has officially entered production, marking a key milestone in Ligoo New Energy’s strategic layout in the Yangtze River Delta and launching a new journey of high-quality development.

The Huzhou plant is Ligoo New Energy’s first independently operated entity in the Yangtze River Delta and another core smart manufacturing base beyond its Yantai headquarters—a key step for the company to deepen its roots in the Yangtze River Delta’s NEV industry cluster and improve its national strategic footprint. In 2025, Ligoo New Energy officially settled in the South Taihu New Area. At the ceremony, Zang Xiaoyan, member of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Management Committee of the South Taihu New Area, delivered a speech and offered congratulations on the plant’s opening. She expressed high hopes for Ligoo’s future—from being China’s No. 1 specialized BMS provider to exploring broad international markets—and spoke highly of Ligoo New Energy as a national-level specialized and sophisticated ‘little giant’ enterprise and a leading domestic BMS player, noting that it achieved first-phase production in just six months, fully demonstrating the company’s formidable strength and efficient execution, and serving as a vivid result of government-enterprise collaboration for win-win outcomes. She stated that the new area will continue to support Ligoo New Energy in deepening its development and growing stronger in the South Taihu New Area, jointly building a benchmark NEV industry project in the Yangtze River Delta and driving the region’s high-quality industrial upgrading.
The General Manager of Leapmotor Lingsheng and Dr. Feifan extended warm congratulations on the base’s opening and delivered speeches. He said that as a top-tier domestic BMS supplier, Ligoo New Energy is a core strategic partner that Leapmotor has long trusted and marched forward with side by side. The launch of Ligoo’s Huzhou base provides an unprecedented premium platform for both parties to build a more resilient, efficient, innovative, and competitive industrial community. Hardcore Smart Manufacturing: Building an Industry Benchmark Factory
As a leading domestic professional BMS enterprise, Ligoo New Energy shipped 3.2 million sets of BMS in 2025, capturing approximately 20% of the market, with its business covering three segments: automotive electronics, energy storage, and NEV contract manufacturing.
The newly commissioned Huzhou smart factory is equipped with a world-class MES system and a full set of advanced production and precision testing equipment, adhering to independently controllable technology and breakthroughs in core processes through in-house R&D. The company has overcome multiple key technical bottlenecks in testing and inspection, and through its self-developed digital system has achieved full-process visualized and digitalized production control, comprehensively strengthening product quality and production efficiency advantages.
Currently, Phase I of the factory has officially entered mass production, equipped with 10 SMT lines, 12 conformal coating lines, 6 selective soldering lines, and more than 40 testing devices. Phase II expansion is progressing in an orderly manner and is expected to reach full capacity in July, at which point multiple new intelligent production lines will be added and production scale will achieve a leapfrog upgrade.
