Empowering the Front Line with TWI Mastery—The 2025 New Team Leader Capability-Building Training Concludes Successfully

In recent years, with the company’s rapid development, the manufacturing team has faced unprecedented challenges. As the smallest operational unit of the enterprise, the team bears the core mission of production, quality control, and benefit transformation, while the team leader is the commander of the “front-line position.”

By focusing on forging team leaders’ capabilities, the company systematically enhances the four key competencies of the grassroots operational units [Job Instruction (JI), Job Methods (JM), Job Relations (JR), Job Safety (JS)].

Starting in 2024, the company introduced the “TWI Front-Line Supervisory Management Skills” training, and production managers demonstrated stronger professionalism, efficiently helping new employees integrate into their roles and actively driving production process optimization.

In 2025, with more team leaders joining, we continued to deepen the TWI training, and on March 27–28, 2025, gathered more than 80 new team leaders again for a 2-day “TWI Front-Line Supervisory Capability-Building Boot Camp.”

This boot camp invited well-known practical production management experts from leading automotive companies in the industry to teach. Through case analysis, simulation practice, and group discussion, it helped team leaders grow rapidly.

In terms of training content, it continued the classic TWI system of Job Instruction (JI), Job Safety (JS), Job Relations (JR), and Job Methods (JM), while optimizing and upgrading it in light of the company’s actual needs, selecting real production-line cases for analysis;

During the course, the trainees actively participated in interactions, discussions, and sharing, carefully recording the key points of standardized work breakdown, enthusiastically discussing improvement plans in groups, and receiving one-on-one guidance from instructors on operational details.
